Joel Harley is a professional writer of almost twenty years, beginning with the establishment of his Horror Review Hole, which was described by Rue Morgue Magazine as “like chatting horror movies with a good mate over beers.”

From there, Joel went on to actually write for Rue Morgue, founding the horror novelisation column Tie-In-Me-Up, Tie-In, Me-Down. He also writes for Total Film Magazine, Metro UK, Entertainment Daily, Horror DNA and Starburst Magazine.

Joel has also contributed essays to releases of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, The Stuff and Killer Klowns From Outer Space for Arrow Video, and Crimes of the Future for Second Sight.

Past experience includes Nerdly UK, WhatCulture, CBR, Horrornews.net and Thehorrorshow.tv.

Ask nicely enough, and he’ll write for you too.
